Toxic Discipleship: Toxic Churches Produce Deadly Disciples (E-Book)
$15.95
About Toxic Discipleship:
“With the skill of a counselor and the spirit of a pastor, the Rev. Dr. Denny Wayman identifies the toxins which keep us from fully living the holy, abundant life to which Christ has called us. Carefully explaining each of the ways the seven deadly sins are manifest today, Wayman does more than just point out what is wrong. He shows how we can be right by not just eliminating such shortcomings from our lives but by changing our lives through submission to the purifying work of God’s Spirit. Both individuals and groups will benefit from this clear call to authentic discipleship. Everyone should read this book, and put it into practice.”
Rev. Bruce N. G. Cromwell, Ph.D.
Superintendent, Great Plains and Mid-America Conferences

About Denny Wayman:
Denny Wayman served 40 years as a lead pastor and eight years as a superintendent. His education concentrated on human behavior in his MDiv and pastoral counseling in his DMin. Accepting the mission of Jesus Christ to “make disciples”, his ministry focused on this most important and therefore most difficult responsibility. In his previous Discipleship Ecosystem, Dr. Wayman took his systems training and applied it to a healthy discipleship ministry. In this volume he has again taken the lessons of systems and exposes the dynamics of a toxic discipleship ministry. Married to a licensed therapist, Denny and Cheryl live in Santa Barbara, Ca. They share two sons and five grandchildren.
